I am so proud of Carter High School! The teachers, the students, the parents, and the community make this a great place to live and work. Every day presents new challenges, but the people, both teenagers and adults, are more than willing to meet those challenges and make this a better place for all of us. As I begin my eleventh year at Carter, I have identified two goals that are first and foremost in my mind. First, I want to encourage all our students to become leaders. Since many of our students will return or remain in this community to live and work, I want to see each of them become a leader at their church, their community groups, or in the workplace. As the students become strong leaders, our community will also become stronger. My second goal is to encourage our students to pursue further education. Whether that continuing education be a four-year university, a two-year school, or technical training, our students must work toward a specific career. As we at Carter work toward these goals, we hope to see our students become involved in every aspect of the high school adventure. Please help us by encouraging our students to do their very best every day and to take advantage of the many opportunities that are before them. GO HORNETS! | |
